Italgraniti was awarded best booth by Associazione per il Disegno Industriale at this year’s Cersaie. Designed by Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano, the duo were supported by Italgraniti Group CEO, Elisa Giacobazzi, to conceive a space ideal for urban collectivity.
The space featured archetypal buildings surrounding a central square designed specifically for socializing. Iconic furniture pieces, some of which utilizing the company’s innovative material technology, were surrounded by the many possible declinations of porcelain stoneware.
The exhibition area is designed to evoke the spatial qualities of a hamlet, where traditional architectural archetypes serve as “display devices” that aid visitors in learning about the objects on display in serene environments. The project is polished and attractive due to the use of simple forms and textural monochromy.
